How The Mighty Have Fallen

The Silk Road founded in February 2011 as an outlet for libertarian beliefs of Ross William Ulbricht ultimately caused his downfall.

Ross William Ulbricht was a student of materials science and engineering at Penn State in 2008, his friends called him careless but caring. He was a normal college student in every aspect, he was one of the smart bulbs with 1460 on his SATs and a liking for djembe, an African drum. While studying crystallography, he took an interest in eastern philosophy and economics. He was highly influenced by Ludwig von Mises, and Austrian economist and came to look at taxation as a coercive and negative move of the government.
